Kyrsten responds:

I don't think it's accurate to say "problem." AAPj, the prime sponsor of the event, and orginator of the prostes, does not support weaponry or violence in any situation.

the concern was that our group, the AAPJ did not make that clear on our emails. We will do so in the future, letting people know that our events have guidleines, and they don' inlcude weapons.

Shannon and her husband were both very nice and I'm glad they came to the event, we just don't like guns.
